Marinko's Desserts is a raw, plant-based dessert startup redefining what the future of dessert looks like. We're searching for a high-caliber Sales Performer — someone with real stage presence, natural charisma, and the grit to command attention.

Role: Farmers' Market Sales Representative

Location: Manhattan Beach Farmers Market

Schedule: Tuesdays, 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Selling irresistible plant-based desserts that are reshaping the industry.
  • Proactively offering samples and delivering compelling, persuasive product narratives.
  • Serving as the magnetic presence of our booth — an entertainer as much as a salesperson — using authentic energy to captivate potential customers.
  • Translating the unique advantages of our desserts into clear, convincing value.
  • Aggressively attracting foot traffic and keeping the booth alive throughout the day.
  • Processing cash & card transactions quickly and accurately.

Ideal Candidate

  • Deeply interested in organic, plant-based foods and their benefits.
  • A natural performer — actor, entertainer, presenter — who thrives in front of a crowd.
  • Skilled at pulling people in and holding their attention without effort.
  • Able to stand for 5-6 hours and work in various weather conditions.
  • Hungry, mentally tough, and unfazed by constant interactions.
  • Comfortable with rejection and capable of maintaining control and composure under pressure.
  • Personable, dynamic, and capable of crafting an experience rather than a transaction.
  • And, above all, you are passionate about clean eating and educating yourself and our customers about healthy nutrition.
