The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is a leader in cardiovascular care, dedicated to delivering high-quality heart and vascular services across Central Florida. Our team includes 23 experienced physicians and 8 advanced practice providers, working together to provide exceptional, evidence-based care using the latest in cardiovascular technology.
We are an accredited testing facility equipped with state-of-the-art in-house equipment. Our philosophy centers on early detection as the best form of prevention, and we offer both clinic-based and hospital-based services. TCAVI also participates in federally approved clinical research and prioritizes minimally invasive treatment options whenever possible.

Position OverviewAs we continue to grow, TCAVI is seeking a patient-centered Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)—with a strong interest or background in cardiology. This role will be based primarily in our Gainesville offices and affiliated hospital settings.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in both clinic and acute care settings.
Manage and evaluate assigned office patients; order diagnostic tests, manage prescriptions, and refer as appropriate.
Collaborate closely with physicians and other APPs on hospital consults and rounds.
Conduct patient histories, perform documentation, order tests, and manage medications.
Supervise stress tests and manage additional orders as required.
Maintain accurate, timely care documentation.
Stay current with CME, licensure, and hospital privileges.
Monday through Friday.
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program; Board Certification required.
Cardiology experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and teamwork.
