Part-Time Hospitality Assistant Needed at Local Jewish Synagogue

We are seeking a dependable and reliable individual to join our team at a welcoming Jewish synagogue. This position requires work on some weekdays, but availability on Friday evenings and Saturdays is essential.

Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities Include:

  • General cleaning tasks
  • Laundry
  • Light lifting
  • Preparing light snacks and lunches
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Capable of working extended hours when needed
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test

  • Schedule:
  • Fridays: 2:00 or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 or 3:00 PM
  • First Friday of each month: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Additional hours may be available based on synagogue needs.
