PAM Crane Engineer

Overview Under the supervision of the Director of Asset Management, the PAM Crane Engineer : Support sites operating cranes with maintenance leadership on reliability issues, major repairs, recertifications and inspections. Train Field Crane technicians on preventive and corrective maintenance to be performed. Work with crane or attachment suppliers on acquisitions and service contracts. Responsibilities Responsibility 1.
- Responsibility 1 Task 1; Maintain relationship with crane suppliers (Liebherr, Konecranes, Manitowoc, Link-Belt, Kobelco etc…)
- Responsibility 1 Task 2; Work with Procurement and Operations to write requests for bids based on Logistec's crane needs
- Responsibility 1 Task
- Review and analyze quotes received for cranes, crane attachments, crane rehabs and repairs. Responsibility 2.
- Responsibility 2 Task 1; Inspection, maintenance review and certification tracking of cranes and crane attachments
- Responsibility 2 Task 2; Field reliability analysis of crane performance and replacement planning
- Responsibility 2 Task
- Coaching and training local crane teams on predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance Responsibility 3.
- Responsibility 3 Task 1; Be a safety steward for Logistec's crane operators and crane maintenance technicians
- Responsibility 3 Task 2; Leadership of Logistec's Crane Team Community

- Stay informed of grants and financing opportunities for crane replacement Qualifications Education: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience: 10 years of experience managing crane maintenance projects, emphasis on power and control proficiency Technical and computer skills: Advanced, able to diagnose electric, programming and signal issues. Work with OEM Telematic suites. Certification(s) and license(s): P.Eng license required, Electrician license preferred, TWIC card prefered Other special requirements: Valid passport required. English required, Spanish or French proficiency helpful.
