Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial and construction painting, with a strong understanding of fabrication and assembly processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various products within a warehouse environment. The Industrial Painter will also contribute to lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, sandblasting, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques including spray, brush, and roller methods.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as required for moving materials.
Experience
- Experience in industrial painting with airless sprayers is preferred.
- Familiarity with fabrication, machining, and assembly processes is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
- Certification or training in forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory.
