Job Description

Are you a seasoned eBuilder (Trimble Unity Construct) system implementor? Do you have deep experience leading eBuilder implementations for large, complex organizations? If so, AECOM's Adaptive Program Management Technologies team has a great career opportunity for you

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) to join the team to lead eBuilder implementations on some exciting and challenging projects. The Senior-Level BA will support our growing portfolio of projects by leading the delivery of critical technology solutions for our large capital improvement program clients. Projects vary in complexity and constraints, providing an environment for career progression.

The home office for this position will be Germantown, MD, but the position can be fully remote or hybrid at any AECOM office.

The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the implementation of eBuilder and other PMIS systems for large, multi-departmental organizations.
  • Working with senior leaders to establish implementation scope, schedule and budget
  • Delegating work activities to and managing the delivery of work products for supporting team members
  • Defining implementation requirements and configuration solutions
  • Managing scope, schedule and budget for the duration of the implementation
  • Work closely with dynamic stakeholder teams to define and document as-is business processes, critical performance metrics, and program/project control requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams of junior and mid-level business analysts, data analysts and software developers as well as key client stakeholders
  • Evaluate the systems and tools currently supporting program/project delivery and define requirements for enhancements
  • Use critical thinking, data analytics, and business analysis techniques to examine existing business processes and to make recommendations for improvement
  • Translate documented requirements into system configurations, software business process workflows and reporting metrics (workflows, data dictionaries, use cases, reports, dashboards)
  • Lead the discovery, design, testing, implementation, training, and rollout phases of software implementation
  • Lead the configuration of solutions to ensure documented requirements are met
  • Develop supporting documentation (user guides, training materials, user acceptance test plans)

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Construction Management or related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience with Project Controls and Software Business Analysis
  • Experience leading commercial construction PMIS implementations of Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder)

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Proven knowledge of capital improvement program management and construction contract managements
  • Ability to facilitate requirements gatherings and accurately document business processes
  • Ability to assimilate client needs and translate them into software business requirements
  • MS Office including Visio and MS Project
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of an organization including senior managers and executives
  • Excellent organizational, time management and presentation skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to work alone as well as leading dynamic and collaborative team environments
  • Demonstrated skills as a problem solver
  • Practical experience in design/build construction delivery
  • Knowledge of project management accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience analyzing and writing business and system requirements documents
  • Data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
  • Business Analysis Certification (CBPA, PMI-PBA)

Additional Information

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • While this is a 100% remote position, travel up to 25% - 50% may be required at times

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $110000 to $165000.
