Job Title: Sourcing & Commercial Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite)

Duration: 12 Months contract (Possible Extension)

Pay rate: $60 per h on W2

Position Overview

The Sourcing & Commercial Manager (IC VMI SCM) is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing, supply assurance, and commercial operations for the Integrated Circuit (IC) organisation. This role oversees VMI/consignment inventory models, negotiates pricing and capacity with suppliers, and drives strategic sourcing efforts to ensure uninterrupted supply for SSD builds.

The manager will collaborate extensively with MPM, PMT, ODM supply chain teams, and internal cross-functional partners to optimise supplier performance, reduce cost, mitigate risks, and improve supply chain processes. This position requires strong commercial acumen, semiconductor supply understanding, and excellent vendor management skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or commercial supply chain.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience managing complex supplier relationships and contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the semiconductor, microelectronics, or hardware components industry.
  • Familiarity with IC procurement cycles, VMI/consignment models, SSD or electronics manufacturing.
