Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Brunch Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating exceptional brunch dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards while ensuring food safety and proper handling practices.

We are looking to cover our opening brunch shift on Saturdays, 9am to 3pm, and the mid brunch shift on Sundays, 11am to 5pm. You will also be assisting in the changeover from our brunch set up to prepare for our regular menu to start at 2:30pm. The end times are not set in stone but is an average timeframe based on volume of business normally. Availability to open on some Sundays as well is beneficial when covering for request offs or staff shortages.

There is a possibility of more shifts in the future as well.

Our brunch menu is served from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Our regular menu starts at 2:30pm.

Duties

  • Open the kitchen and be ready to serve guests on time.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of brunch menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in culinary roles, preferably within fast casual or high-volume restaurant settings.
  • Strong background in food service, including knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on quality presentation and flavor.
