The RoleAs a Program Manager – Strategic Planning and Reporting, you are a strategic facilitator who supports program management, strategic planning and executive reporting efforts that help inform and drive FCAT's near- and long-term outcomes. You will define and implement program management processes that foster transparency and enable informed decision-making across teams. You will leverage tools and data to provide visibility into the portfolio for FCAT leadership, support KPI measurements and quarterly reporting cycles, and design BI dashboards that deliver actionable analytics across FCAT. You will collaborate closely with leaders and teams to support strategic alignment that accelerates innovation and impact.
Key Responsibilities IncludeStrategic Planning
- Establish and refine processes to regularly capture project roadmaps, risks, and resource needs
- Facilitate quarterly planning and promote and standardize best practices across different groups
- Serve as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams, executives, and partners to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Facilitate regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews to maintain engagement and resolve conflicts.
- Translate complex project data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Aggregate and analyze project metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, confluence pages, presentations and other reporting formats that provide actionable insights to leadership and project teams.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms and project documentation.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance program management capabilities.
- Monitor risks and timelines, proactively identifying variances and suggesting corrective actions.
- Support vendor management and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective delivery and contractual compliance.
- Bachelors' Degree in a relevant field with 10 or more years of related scrum master or technical project management experience; Certified Scrum Master certification preferred
- Proven Project Leadership: Over 10 years of demonstrated success in project management, with deep expertise in both traditional methodologies and agile practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience and high proficiency with project and collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Miro and Power BI.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect goals, objectives, roadmaps, and metrics in a standardized and scalable way across diverse teams and project types - especially within the context of emerging technologies and varied business outcomes.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical updates into concise executive summaries.
- Influence & Collaboration: Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across functions and levels. Strong team player and people-person.
- Vendor Management & Procurement Acumen: Experience with vendor management and procurement systems, with the ability to navigate contracts, negotiations, and third-party coordination.
- Legal Risk Compliance (LRC) Engagement Experience: Prior exposure to LRC is highly desirable, with an understanding of its operational and strategic implications.
- Adaptability & Learning Agility: Thrive in dynamic, cross-functional and ambiguous environments. Quick to grasp new concepts and passionate about emerging technologies and innovation.
- Innovation Lifecycle or Startup Experience: Prior exposure to startups or innovation is highly desirable, with an understanding of iterative development, rapid experimentation, and scaling new ideas.
