Position Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and dependable Bar & Server Shift Lead to support our front-of-house operations. This role combines the responsibilities of a skilled server and bartender with additional leadership duties, including overseeing shifts, handling end-of-night reporting, and addressing customer or staff issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead bartender and server during assigned shifts
  • Ensure smooth shift operations, delegating tasks and supporting team members
  • Handle end-of-night duties, including reporting, tip distribution, and closing procedures
  • Address and de-escalate customer conflicts or concerns professionally
  • Serve as the point person for FOH team communication and problem-solving
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and customer experience

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as both a bartender and server in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and support a team
  • Professional and calm under pressure; confident in handling conflict resolution
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing shift responsibilities independently
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be available to work weekdays, with flexibility for occasional weekend shifts

Compensation:

  • Flat stipend per lead shift, in addition to regular tips earned
  • Opportunities for increased responsibility and growth
