Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and taking out trash.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health regulations.
  • Help with inventory management by organizing clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.

Skills

  • Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Ability to assist in food preparation.
  • Familiarity with bussing techniques to efficiently clear tables during service.
  • Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities, demonstrating a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
  • Food Handlers Certification a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
