Nordblooms is a luxury floral studio specializing in refined preserved-floral designs for corporate spaces, hospitality, brand installations, and high-end environments.

Role Overview

We're hiring an experienced Senior Floral Designer skilled in preserved flowers and corporate/installation work. This role requires concept development, sketching or visual drafting, and hands-on installation ability. You must be confident creating proposals and translating concepts into large-scale, refined floral executions while maintaining the Nordblooms aesthetic.

Responsibilities

  • Create corporate floral designs, signature arrangements, and on-site installations
  • Develop design concepts, moodboards, sketches, and visual proposals
  • Create seasonally focused corporate designs and installation concepts
  • Work extensively with preserved flowers and understand mechanics & longevity
  • Lead on-site installations and breakdowns
  • Collaborate with brand partners and corporate clients
  • Manage installation logistics, materials, and timelines
  • Track inventory and assist with costing and recipes
  • Support studio organization and overall brand design direction
  • Assist with e-commerce production during peak periods

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years professional floral design experience including corporate or installation work
  • Required: Experience working with preserved flowers
  • Experience with installations, corporate pieces, or large-scale structures
  • Ability to sketch concepts or create visual drafts for proposals
  • Strong luxury aesthetic and understanding of structural design
  • Technical knowledge of installation mechanics, stability, materials, and on-site execution
  • Experience managing timelines and client expectations
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating installation, corporate floral work, or preserved florals
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

  • Hotel, corporate, or brand installation background
  • Experience leading small installation teams
  • Knowledge of foam-free mechanics
  • Experience with design software (optional but a plus)

Compensation

$35-$50 per hour or salary equivalent, based on experience.
