The Hardware Technologies Group is looking for a Camera/Depth Engineering Program Manager (EPM) that will be responsible for driving design, development, and integration of next-generation camera and depth modules into iPhone, iPad, and Mac products. Description
- Leading an hardware engineering team through designing, manufacturing, testing, and validation of camera and depth modules. n- Defining and driving the build plan for multiple module integrators, serving as the primary lead during module development, and advocating for the best camera performance throughout the organization.n- Creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets.n- Collaborating with engineering managers and peer engineering program managers on supervising and maintaining the execution plan and status, through personal connections, processes, and tools.n- Navigating interpersonal conflicts and bringing people together. n- Responsible for delivering depth and camera modules on schedule, facilitating risk management, and communicating status and issues to the development team and Apple executives.n- Facilitating effective communication and transparency between the cooperating cross-functional teams.n- Understanding technical issues and driving them to closure by bringing key stakeholders for decision-making.n- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance program management efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making.n- Ability to travel internationally required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Physics or related field.n5+ years experience as an engineering manager in hardware domains or as a program/project manager.nKnowledge of mass-production consumer electronics products, supply chain, and test processes.nExperience with international OEM/ODM partners/vendors.nKnow-how and passion for photography, digital imaging, and consumer products.nExperience with a multinational development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Physics or related field.nWorking knowledge of optics and lens design.nCamera module design, development, or project management experience.nMobile phone system design; specifically system integration and manufacturing experience.nExtraordinary listening, presentation, and communication skills.nSelf-motivated and hard-working with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.nExcellent leadership skills and ability to encourage team members.nCreative and organized with the ability of creating high quality plans and status reports.nAbility to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience is critical.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
