We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations with data driven insights and financial guidance. This role plays a key part in tracking performance, analyzing variances, and partnering with operations to improve cost efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate has some experience in financial analysis, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable translating numbers into meaningful business insight and will perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Tracking outgoing payments
- Monitoring company expenditures (including payroll)
- Maintaining records
- Verifying expense reports, as needed
- Maintaining petty cash
- Maintaining PCard usage and reconciliation
- Reviewing vendor and service provider agreements, as needed
- Tracking and paying sales and use tax
- Analyzing financial information and preparing balance sheets reconciliations, as requested
- Assist with the preparation of budgets
- Ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations
- Resolving account payable issues or queries
- Handling the month-end and year-end closing process
- Ensuring all suppliers are paid accurately and on time
- Responding to supplier queries in an appropriate and timely manner
- Liaising with administration staff in other locations on accounts payable matters
- Ensuring accounts payable records are filed correctly and efficiently
- Waste reports for operations
- Work collaboratively with accounting staff and other departments to ensure accuracy in finances
- Consistently performing all day-to-day financial transactions including reliably and accurately verifying, sorting, calculating, posting and recording the department's data
- Organized, detail-oriented with strong communications skills
- Prepare other statistical reports and job duties as needed.
Supporting Tasks
- Cross training with accounts receivable duties and responsibilities
- Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Resolving accounts receivable issues or queries
- Process receiving
- Secure proper tools for each task
- Communicate suggestions and recommend solutions to problems to provide for an efficient operation
- Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member
- Other job duties as assigned

What We Need From You:
- Over three months, up to one year of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong Excel skills required
- Odyssey experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
- Degree or Experience in finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred
- Comfortable visiting production-floor environment when needed
- Able to explain financial concepts to non-financial teams
