Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy Skills

Metabolize Health | Immediate Start Required

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant (Front & Back Office) to join our team at Metabolize Health. This is an immediate-start position for someone ready to support a fast-paced, integrative medical practice focused on providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front-desk operations
  • Schedule appointments and handle incoming phone calls
  • Check patients in and ensure medical records are up to date
  • Verify insurance information and patient details
  • File and organize medical records accurately
  • Order and stock medical and office supplies as needed

Clinical Support:

  • Take and record patient vitals
  • Perform EKGs
  • Assist with patient flow and prepare them for provider visits
  • Assist with blood draws , specimen processing
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean and properly stocked

Legal and Ethical Duties:

  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Comply with HIPAA and CMIA regulations regarding medical records

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Medical Assistant or CPT1 license
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

License/Certification:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Preferred)
