What To ExpectTesla is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineering Manager to create, develop, and take on responsibility for state-of-the-art manufacturing processes in one of the most complex and challenging manufacturing environments – Tesla's new Texas Gigafactory.The Tesla Battery Cell Manufacturing Engineering Team is not for the faint of heart, after all, changing the world isn't easy. It is, however, an opportunity to work along-side some of the industry's top experts on some of the most stimulating challenges of the 21st Century. In addition to developing manufacturing processes, this specific role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams throughout the manufacturing line lifecycle.This specific role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams throughout the manufacturing line lifecycle. This newest member of Manufacturing Engineering will be in lockstep with our Design for Manufacturability team, Product Excellence (Quality), Production Engineering, Production, and New Product Introduction (NPI) to take new manufacturing designs and manufacturing process from initial concept, through prototype development, and into full production.
