Duties:

- Must hold a current RN license

-Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility

-Job requires budgetary management

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Medicare regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for the nursing department
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing management

Skills:

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements

Summary

As the Director of Nursing, you will provide essential leadership in nursing administration, overseeing nurse management and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare. Your role will involve supervising nursing staff, enhancing organizational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of patient care. With a strong background in nursing and effective communication skills, you will collaborate with healthcare teams to promote resident rights and improve care outcomes. Your expertise in EHR systems and knowledge of medical terminology will be vital in supporting our commitment to quality healthcare delivery.

Pay: $76, $92,222.25 per year
