Qualifications Required:

• Strong data entry and typing skills with high accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data management tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial data responsibly
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines

Preferred (a plus, not required):

• Basic knowledge of accounting or tax preparation
• Experience using QuickBooks, TaxDome, or similar software
• Previous experience in data management or administrative support
• Familiarity with document management and digital filing systems

What You'll Do

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and client information across our systems. You'll play a vital role in keeping our tax and accounting workflows organized and efficient.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Input and update client information, tax documents, and financial data into CRM and accounting systems
• Verify accuracy of entered data and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized digital records in secure cloud-based systems
• Assist in preparing spreadsheets, summaries, and reports for accountants and tax preparers
• Support bookkeeping and tax preparation teams with document tracking and categorization
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance and consistency in data entry
• Communicate with team members and clients to clarify or correct information as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks, filing, and system updates as requested

Compensation

$16.00 – $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance. We welcome both experienced data entry professionals and those looking to grow their skills in the accounting and tax industry.
