St George's International School is currently seeking a new PE Teacher to complete the 2026 academic year. 
You would be joining a multicultural, international environment with students from diverse backgrounds and a highly collaborative staff community. This will be a fixed-term contract at 100%. 

• Teach PE in Middle School (Y6–9) and Senior School (Y10–13) within Cambridge, IGCSE and IB programmes.

• Coach a range of school sports.

• Support Junior School sports provision (Y3–5).

• Manage one of the school's sports academies.

• Ensure good planning, supervision and discipline.

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons.

• Develop students' core skills and make interdisciplinary links.

• Show strong drive, energy and teamwork.

• Maintain high expectations for self and students.

• Follow departmental assessment policies.

• Write academic reports.

• Attend parent–teacher/tutor conferences.

• Attend scheduled school meetings.

• Cover lessons when needed.

• Provide extra-curricular coaching.

• Tutor a group of around 10 students (Y7–13).

• Act as a role model and ambassador for the school.

• Build positive relationships with colleagues and parents.

• Demonstrate international-mindedness and support a multilingual environment.

• Experience of teaching IGCSE PE and IBDP Sport, Exercise and Health Science
• Experience in coaching school sport
• the ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 3 years experience with students in a secondary school
• Confidence with use of ICT in teaching
• University degree in PE and/or in a related subject
• Certified Teaching Status
