Marketing & Event Coordinator (Part-Time, 20–30 hrs/week)

Hungry Hound Boutique & Grooming – Northwest Indiana

Hungry Hound is hiring a Marketing & Event Coordinator to manage branding, social media, and all community events from start to finish. This role blends creativity, organization, and hands-on event work. Ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, loves pets, and can manage multiple projects with confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, organize, and attend all events across NW Indiana
  • Create graphics and marketing materials (Canva)
  • Manage social media scheduling and analytics (Metricool)
  • Write email campaigns (Mailchimp)
  • Capture photo/video content at events and in-store
  • Update website content and write blog posts
  • Transport and set up tents, tables, inventory, and giveaways
  • Represent Hungry Hound professionally at all events

What You Need

  • Marketing or event experience
  • Strong communication and organization
  • Skilled in Canva; familiar with Mailchimp & Metricool (or similar tools)
  • Photography and videography experience
  • Reliable transportation; comfortable traveling across NW Indiana
  • Ability to lift and move event supplies
  • Weekend availability
  • Enjoy working with animals and the public

Schedule & Pay

  • 20–30 hours per week
  • Some remote hours
  • Flexible weekday scheduling
  • Weekends required for events
  • Pay based on experience
