Our Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) program is seeking a Bachelor's level, Community Worker, for a full-time, hybrid role that is based out of our New London location serving our clients throughout New London County. Our Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy program provides convenient in-home behavioral health services and transforms lives through family-centered treatment for youth ages 9-18 who are struggling with mental health and other challenges. It gives parents hope and enables youth to create a positive lifestyle.
This role requires comfortability with in-home visits, reliable transportation to travel to client's homes, as well as the flexibility to work a combination of day and evening hours, Monday-Friday, to accommodate the needs of our clients.
This position is responsible for the case management needs of our MDFT clients, including attending school meetings, coordinating with other providers, assisting clients in obtaining community resources and prosocial activities, and collaborating with the rest of the MDFT team regarding case management needs and follow-through with appropriate action steps. This candidate facilitates the completion of intake paperwork with the families and utilizes interventions in accordance with the MDFT model.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask and meet or exceed deadlines
- Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility
Salary: $50,000 annually. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred with significant pay differential offered.
