We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented bookkeeper and payroll specialist to join a local company's team This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and can maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
  • Support year-end closing and coordinate with external accountants
Payroll
  • Transfer payroll data to third party administrator
  • Maintain employee records and handle onboarding/offboarding documentation
  • Calculate commissions and bonuses
  • Correct timekeeping errors
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • 5 years of office experience with a focus on bookkeeping and payroll
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Quickbooks experience required
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
