Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Administrator/Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and manage Apache Kafka clusters (on-premise/cloud).
  • Monitor cluster performance, availability, and security.
  • Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and broker configurations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka brokers, producers, and consumers.
  • Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Work with DevOps/Engineering teams to optimize event-driven architecture.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (administration & support).
  • Expertise in Kafka monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Zookeeper/KRaft, schema registry, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Streams.
  • Experience with Linux, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
