What you'll be doing

  • Encourage positive relationships and promote independence for those you serve
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Administer medications and monitor health needs
  • Prepare and support nutritious meals
  • Transport and assist individuals in community activities
  • Lead, mentor, and support team members on shift in coordination with the supervisor
  • Help with scheduling, training, compliance, and other administrative duties as needed
  • Assist with employee relations and special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Valid Michigan driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass applicable background checks
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Basic computer skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree + 2 years relevant experience, or
  • Associate's degree + 3 years relevant experience, or
  • High school diploma/GED + 4 years relevant experience
