Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for the position of Temp Convention staff. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of various events and conventions. As a Temp Convention staff member, you will be responsible for assisting with event setup, attendee registration, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

Duties

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
• Support attendee registration by checking in guests, distributing materials, and answering questions.
• Provide information about the event schedule, location details, and other relevant inquiries to attendees.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space throughout the duration of the convention.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event support or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed for events.
• Physical ability to lift items up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
