Facilitates communication and understanding among the various clinical components of the delivery system, assuring the provision of high quality, efficient and safe care. Participates in strategic planning at the affiliate, regional and system level. Develops and establishes the direction of policies and procedures and sets a structure for providing a safe and productive work environment.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 12 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Solid understanding of operations and workflows, and how department's process/workflow impacts other department operations.
- Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.
- Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees.
- Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders.
- Delegates effectively, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
- Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources.
- Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and provide services consistent with applicable legal standards and regulations.

Pay Range is $137.66 to $220.26 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
