Forklift Operator

We are looking for an organized individual who has the skills to help a busy production Plant. The candidate will be using a forklift: loading and unloading trucks, pulling stock from shelves to deliver to production, handling and maintain an accurate inventory of chemicals, large metal parts, and engines. They would also be responsible for keeping the facilities organized and clean, utilizing 5S procedures.

Must have forklift and warehouse experience.

Must be organized, responsible, good multi-tasker, and dependable.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Operation of forklift loading and unloading trucks of material/products and placing materials in correct stock location.
  • Making sure all paperwork is organized and delivered to management daily and communicating with office personnel about items needed and/or discrepancies in inventory.
  • Pulling and Delivering dumpsters to various departments throughout the day and contacting the trash service when outside dumpsters are full.
  • Completing daily safety checks and preventative maintenance on eqipment.
  • Dating, rotating, distributing and managing a large array of chemical materials utilizing FIFI procedures, and informing management of any non-conforming materials.
