Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Delta V and DCS systems to optimize manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical environment.

  • Develop and execute batch automation strategies to improve process efficiency, quality, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop control strategies, and ensure the successful integration of automated systems.

  • Manage and document change controls in accordance with GMP and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and traceability.

  • Participate in the commissioning and qualification of automated systems, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.

  • Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams regarding the use and maintenance of automation systems.

  • Ensure all automation activities are performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with Delta V and DCS systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of batch processing and automation principles.

  • Experience with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage change controls and document processes accurately.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation system
