CarePlus TLC is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, RN or LPN with a passion for serving others to join our team

This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. The successful candidate is self-motivated, reliable, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive experience in our client's lives

We currently have both part-time and PRN shifts available 8 hour shift times are 7a-3p 8-32 hours per week. ( Mondays, Fridays and every other weekend or 3rd weekend-possibility of an extra week day as a nurse would like to retire )

Responsibilities

  • Take and record vital signs
  • Monitor patient's condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family members
  • Provide Activities of Daily Living care as outlined in the Care Plan-bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
  • Tube feed/ tube feed care
  • cough assist and suctioning needs
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
  • Administer prescribed medications including injections, enemas/suppositories, etc as ordered by Physician
  • hoyer transfers
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Skills

  • 1 year experience as a nurse
  • Familiarity with home health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Understanding of confidentiality and Privacy Laws and nursing best practices
  • Adequate knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to learn electronic verification charting software
  • Ability to turn and reposition patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and able to handle tough situations as needed
  • LPN/RN License
