Our next Platting Assistant will be a key team member driving process and system improvements while working closely with various Survey and Platting team levels.

DUTIES OUR PLATTING ASSISTANT WILL EXECUTE IN THIS ROLE: Work directly with Platting Coordinator and Platting Manager to perform platting-related tasks. Ability to perform QA/QC checks of internal plats.Basic understanding of Elevation platting standards.Create documents needed for client execution as needed for plat submittals.Reconcile petty cash for tax certs including check requests from Accounting and bank trips to maintain petty cash.Company credit card expense reports and receipt tracking.Printing plats and documents for submittal. Check requests for plat submittals and recordations. Download/scan recorded plats. Request and pick up tax certificates from tax offices.Deliver payments to Montgomery County and Harris County clerk offices for plat recordations.Submit plats and paperwork to municipalities (tax certs, etc.).Maintain plat list spreadsheet for upcoming submittal deadlines, items needed for submittal, etc.   QUALIFICATIONS1-3 years of previous administrative experience preferred. High School Diploma required. Excellent written/verbal communication skills.Valid driver's license.Must be comfortable driving in the Greater Houston area as needed for platting-related tasks. Microsoft Office experience.Aptitude to understand general plat expectations.
