Senior Financial Analyst *Remote*  Candidates residing in Washington or Oregon are encouraged to apply.  Candidates who reside in the Greater Portland area will be expected to go on site for meetings twice a month. 

The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the service area team and sits on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance. Analyzes, understands and reports on key financial and business trends for the organization. Collects, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses.

Essential Functions:




Gather and analyze financial and operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance. Pro-actively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports.


Develop financial proformas and value propositions. Provide continued measurement of actual performance against current project budgets, original project funding, and other measures as appropriate.


Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts.


Work with Accounting team to conduct regular review of monthly accounting close.


Prepare various analyses and recommendations used by business leaders management in making informed operating decisions.


Review and verification of productivity metrics and statistics.


Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information.


Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting / Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 3 years  - Analytical and business experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree - Business Administration.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) upon hire. 
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) upon hire. 
  • 2 years - Healthcare related experience.

  • Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $40.11, Max: $62.27
  • Washington: Western - Except Tukwila: Min:$41.81, Max: $64.91
  • Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: Min: $40.11, Max: $62.27
  • Washington: Tukwila: Min:$41.81, Max: $64.91
  • Washington: Eastern: Min: $35.69, Max: $55.41
  • Washington: Southeastern: Min: $37.39, Max: $58.05
