Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff member to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting various repair projects. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and efficient environment, contributing directly to the overall success of our operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple maintenance disciplines while working in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic painting, drywall repair, and touch-ups throughout the property
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure guest comfort
  • Handle minor electrical issues such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures
  • Assist with plumbing repairs (toilets, sinks, drains, etc.)
  • Maintain and repair hotel equipment, furniture, and fixtures
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and document work performed
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements:

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule (including weekends)
