Water Consultant Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Hours of Operation for Water Consultant:

At DuMor Water Specialists we prioritize work/life balance. As a full time Water Consultant the ideal candidate would work 40 hours a week, with a flexible schedule, and hours of availability ranging from 8AM to 8PM. Individuals in this position are responsible for setting their own appointments while being considerate to customer demands and may need to set appointments outside of normal operational hours, as late as 8PM.

Other Considerations:

  • WC will not be eligible for overtime,as this is compensated through commissions and other sales incentives.
  • WC will be required to represent DuMor Water Specialists for trade shows, local fairs, and other similar opportunities as they arise.
  • WC will be punctual and in attendance to all Sales Department meetings, as well as company wide meetings/events.
