Job Summary

As part of The Nautical team, you will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and attention to detail. You'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all laundry items are expertly cleaned, pressed, and ready for our valued guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver an exceptional experience every time.

What you'll do

  • Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment to clean and finish linens efficiently.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.
  • Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely turnaround of laundry services for guests.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
  • Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding positively to requests or concerns from guests regarding laundry services.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in laundry operations or cleaning services is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality outcomes.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment operation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
