Duties

  • Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to achieve their full potential
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and safety compliance
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
  • Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed targets
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive shopping experiences
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning
  • Coordinate purchasing, pricing, and inventory management to optimize product availability and profitability

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervising responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
  • Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, bookkeeping, payroll, and cash handling procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, marketing, and sales management techniques
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
  • Experience with employee orientation, training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing shift schedules
  • Familiarity with retail tools such as pricing strategies, store management software, and wireless sales is advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service excellence
