Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Classification: Exempt 

Status: Full-Time

Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance

Purpose:

The Accountant II oversees multiple accounting functions including: paying claims, accounts payable, accounts receivable, maintains daily & monthly bank accounts & cash balances, reconciles General Ledger accounts; and analyzes financial data

Responsibilities:

Maintains cash balances daily & reconciles bank accounts monthly.Reconciles general ledger accounts.Analyzes financial data.Provides audit assistance on financial, regulatory, and health plan audits.Manages the accounts payable process including check generation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience. 2+ years of accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytic skillsLicense/Certification: CPA.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
