The Role at a Glance
This position supports the execution and continuous improvement of architecture and technology governance processes across the enterprise. The Analyst will assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of governance artifacts, standards, and metrics. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure governance requirements are understood and followed, contributing to the integrity and effectiveness

of Lincoln's architecture governance structures, including the Architecture Review Board (ARB), Software Review Board (SRB), and IT Policy and Standards Review Board (PSRB) processes.

  • Maintains awareness of current and emerging trends in architecture and technology governance and supports their integration into existing processes.
  • Advocates for integrity by proactively addressing potential ethical issues and ensuring governance standards are upheld.
  • Demonstrates confidence and resilience while contributing to problem-solving discussions and promoting governance best practices.
  • Provides clarity on priorities and models urgency in achieving governance goals and deliverables.
  • Shares knowledge and builds trust-based relationships across teams to support governance activities.
  • Invites diverse perspectives during governance reviews and promotes a sense of belonging among stakeholders.
  • Engages in constructive feedback and challenges the status quo respectfully to improve governance processes.
  • Invests in understanding stakeholder needs and resolves governance-related issues empathetically.
  • Clarifies impactful steps to achieve governance objectives and recognizes contributions from team members.
  • Champions transformation and supports adoption of new ways of working in governance practices.
  • Supports the execution of governance control points embedded in solution proposals, logical design reviews, software sourcing, and renewal processes.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of governance documentation, including templates, policies, standards, and exception requests.
  • Collaborates with architects, business partners, and IT teams to gather and validate governance requirements.
  • Tracks and reports on governance metrics and compliance status across ARB, SRB, and PSRB engagements.
  • Supports intake and review processes by preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, and following up on action items.
  • Escalates identified risks or policy issues to senior team members or management as appropriate.
  • Contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements.
  • Participates in post-implementation governance activities including validation of operational readiness.
  • Maintains documentation repositories and ensures version control and accessibility of governance artifacts.
  • Utilizes tools and platforms including ServiceNow, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and LucidSuite to support governance activities.

What We're Looking For
Must Haves:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • 2–4 Years of experience in information technology, architecture, or technology governance
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Demonstrates professional presence and sound judgment in high-visibility situations

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range
and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
