About the Role

We are excited to offer a Data Analytics internship for motivated students who want to apply Power BI skills to real world business problems. You will work with live data and build dashboards that help leadership make faster, smarter decisions. If you are passionate about analytics and ready to learn, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards for business leaders
  • Clean, transform, and model data using Power Query and DAX
  • Translate business questions into clear visualizations and metrics
  • Perform trend analysis to highlight opportunities and key drivers
  • Document data sources, logic, and processes for long term use
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for active initiatives

Qualifications:

Must Have Skills

  • Proven experience with Power BI through coursework, projects, or prior work
  • Ability to work with data and tell a clear visual story
  • Strong Excel skills; exposure to SQL or similar query tools
  • Clear communication and solid problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • DAX formulas and Power Query
  • Data modeling concepts such as relationships and star schema
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytics tools

Logistics and Expectations

  • Weekly check ins with the VP of IT and project sponsors

  • Reliable internet connection and access to Microsoft Power BI Desktop
