Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Shipside Operations Specialist to support the Fabrication Aerostructures Support team based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, under deadlines. Candidates with strong project leadership, attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills will be a great fit. This position will provide critical production support for product deliveries including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results.
  • Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues.
  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues.
  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research
  • 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis
  • Analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3+ years' experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience working with customers

Summary pay range: $72,250 - $97,750
