We are seeking a highly motivated Fund Accountant with 1–3 years of public accounting experience to join our team, and is eager to transition into the investment accounting space.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger reconciliations related to investment activities
- Assist in the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and analyze investment portfolios, including fixed income, equities, and alternative investments
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support audit and compliance activities
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in investment reporting
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (3.3 GPA or higher preferred)
- CPA license or CPA eligible (parts passed a strong plus)
- Min of 1 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firm preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Interest in or experience with investment accounting a plus
