Vice President – Healthcare Capital Markets

ICR, a leading strategic communications firm and registered Broker Dealer, is seeking a motivated professional to join its highly regarded Capital Markets Advisory firm,
ICR Capital LLC
and play a leadership role on the ICR Healthcare capital markets team.

The ICR Healthcare capital markets team is a leader in providing IPO and other capital markets advisory services to healthcare companies across medical technology, life sciences tools & diagnostics and healthcare technology & services. During 2025, the team has advised on the IPOs of Omada Health and Carlsmed with several other IPO Advisory engagements in the pipeline.

Responsibilities:
The Vice President will be an important member of the team and will:

  1. Support the head of ICR Healthcare capital markets in providing capital markets advisory services to clients as they plan and execute late-stage private capital raises, initial public offerings (IPOs) and follow-on offerings.
  2. Play a leadership role in some capital markets engagements, as appropriate
  3. Maintain active dialogue with leading healthcare bankers, capital markets professionals and research analysts
  4. Liaise with sub-sector team leads on capital markets engagements and business development efforts, as appropriate
  5. Support ongoing business development initiatives
  6. Work closely with the healthcare capital market team's senior associate on
  7. Preparation of deliverables for client engagements and pitch presentations for business development
  8. Detailed analysis of equity transaction data
  9. Monitoring of equity new issue activity
  10. Maintenance of multiple databases

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years prior Investment Banking or Capital Markets experience (ideally including some at the Vice President level), Healthcare experience preferred
  2. High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Pitchbook, Dealogic and Fact Set. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ is helpful
  3. Comfortable leading dialogue with existing and potential clients
  4. Strong analytical skills, particularly in financial and valuation analysis
  5. Strong execution experience in equity capital markets transactions
  6. Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
  7. Team player
  8. Attention to detail is critical
  9. Strong oral and written communication skills
  10. Bachelor's Degree. Finance, Economics, Business, or Management majors preferred
