About The Role
Join PSI, a wholly owned subsidiary of ETS, and help build technology that powers human progress. As a Senior Software Developer, you'll design and deliver high-quality software solutions that support our customers and advance our mission. You'll work independently, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior developers—bringing innovation and reliability to every project.
Customers will include the US Government, therefore the successful candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a level 1 (Confidential) security clearance
*What You'll Do*
- Design and Build: Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Java/Spring and SQL.
- Solve Problems: Diagnose complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Lead Projects: Take ownership of key initiatives and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Enhance Systems: Improve existing functionality and add new features to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate: Work with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts in an Agile environment.
- Innovate: Research emerging technologies and apply best practices to improve performance and user experience.
- Document and Share: Maintain clear product documentation and contribute to process improvements.
*What You Bring*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in software development roles.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Framework, SQL, and modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS).
- Experience with APIs, , and version control tools (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile practices and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to receive a level 1 security clearance
Preferred Experience
- JSP development.
- Accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Tools like JIRA and enterprise-level debugging techniques.
