This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with team mentoring, quality assurance, and operational support to ensure optimal facility performance and compliance while developing technical staff.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Providing expert technical guidance and troubleshooting support for HVAC/R systemsTraining and onboarding new technicians in maintenance procedures and company protocolsConducting weekly on-site quality assurance inspections across maintained facilitiesManaging refrigerant inventory and usage to ensure regulatory compliancePreparing technical evaluations and deficiency reports on existing mechanical systemsResponding to emergency situations with appropriate technical solutionsSupporting operations management with performance metrics and technical reportingDesired experience and technical skills:Requirements:Minimum 6 years of technical and supervisory experience in building engineeringStrong technical background in HVAC/R systems, specifically rack refrigerationValid driver's license for traveling between client sitesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Corrigo facility management systemAvailability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as neededExcellent communication skills for training and mentoring team membersPreferred:EPA certification for refrigerant handlingExperience with preventive maintenance program implementationBackground in commercial building operationsKnowledge of energy efficiency best practices for HVAC systemsExperience with capital project planning and implementationLocation: Columbus, OH and surrounding areaShift: Standard day shift hoursLocation:On-site –Columbus, OHIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tablePersonalized benefits that support personal well-being and growth:JLL recognizes the impact that the workplace can have on your wellness, so we offer a supportive culture and comprehensive benefits package that prioritizes mental, physical and emotional health.
