Job Overview

We seek a confident, experienced and hands-on individual who is highly organized and willing to learn in this full-time position in our small (but busy) assembly department.

The role involves handling acrylic parts by part numbers and packaging them into flat-pack kits ready for dispatch. You will need to be proficient with computers to manage daily tasks such as processing orders and using the inventory software to keep the flow of work efficient. You will need to use some tools for the role.

Our products are shipped worldwide, and due to their fragile nature, meticulous care must be taken when handling them. We value a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. You'll need to work well as part of a team while also managing your own tasks independently, always supporting the team wherever needed to maintain our high-quality standards.

We are looking for someone with previous warehouse experiencein a production or manufacturing environment, and we will provide training individualized to our business.

Requirements:

  • Computer literacy for accurate updating of computer-based inventory systems.
  • Excellent understanding of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Be commercially astute and a natural problem solver.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort with handling materials of varying sizes and weights (within safety guidelines) and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Tasks:

  • Understand work orders, parts and specifications.
  • Ensure all parts are assembled correctly according to the requirements.
  • Efficiently manage your time to complete tasks with both accuracy and speed.
  • Keep production statuses updated using computer-based manufacturing and inventory software.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies with parts or assembly processes to the relevant team members for resolution.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and notify the assembly manager when supplies are low.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

This is a warehouse position where you will spend most of your time on your feet, handling acrylic materials of various sizes.

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.30 am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8.30am – 4.30pm
