The Culinary Chef will be responsible to consistently provide fine dining experience to the guests of the facility. He/she is responsible for the food service operation, which provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and special event food.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise other personnel engaged in specialty cooking, preparation, presentation and service of food and beverage items.
- Assist in planning and planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending
physician. Prepare and serve portion-controlled meals that are palatable and appetizing in
appearance.
- Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required. Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
- Assist in developing methods for determining quality and quantity of food served.
Qualifications:
- Must currently hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree strongly preferred.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler's Card.
- Minimum of two (2) years dietary/food service experience in a hotel restaurant, hospital, or
nursing facility required.
- Culinary supervisory experience preferred.
