ROLE OVERVIEW

A rapidly growing team is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer with a strong sense of ownership to help revolutionize workforce training. The opportunity involves leading the development of innovative technology to gamify and improve learning experiences, collaborating closely with senior engineers and company founders in a dynamic office environment in Manhattan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver impactful full-stack features at a fast pace, ensuring both speed and quality to enhance the user experience.
- Guide the team's architectural direction and technical strategies, focusing on solutions that scale as the organization grows.
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to accelerate development and shape best practices across engineering teams.
- Oversee complete feature development from ideation and design through deployment.
- Work hand-in-hand with founders and stakeholders to turn business challenges into elegant technological solutions.
- Champion a positive engineering culture that supports rapid growth.
- Assist in bringing onboard and mentoring new engineers as part of team expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of five years' experience in software engineering with evidence of technical leadership.
- Full-stack expertise; while Go and TypeScript are currently in use, broad technical agility is valued.
- Demonstrated ability to create and scale products that resonate with real users.
- Proactive attitude and commitment—driven to make a significant impact through hands-on leadership.
- Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, high-responsibility setting, paired with strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for integrating AI tools into workflows.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- Onsite position located in NYC's Flatiron district with a requirement to be in the office three days a week.
- Only one position available; seeking a candidate ready to take on a pivotal role in the development journey.
- Reporting directly to executive leadership.
