Summary: Responsible for inserting a rubber preform (uncured rubber) into a press, removing the hot cured rubber and hand trimming the waste by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Will need to read and understand a schedule while using a computer interface to record production ?

Preform and understand critical quality checks and be able to accurately measure specifications ?

Will need to insert and remove rubber weighting 15 pounds into a press that is 300 degrees Fahrenheit ?

Need to trim and hand stack cured tile ?

Will need to preform quality check before and after the material is cured ?

Will need strong communication skills, a teamwork mindset and be able to work in tandem with another associate

Operator must rotate positions with the Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill ?

Overtime is/may be required. ?

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma required.

General Tasks required of all associates

Operator must understand and follow 5S and good housekeeping in their respective areas ?

Must adhere to all safety policies within Mannington, The Rubber Plant and specific to job being preformed

Operators will Clean their equipment throughout the shift and at shutdowns
