Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced ISP/OSP/Principal Systems Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. This contract position is 100% on-site and requires expertise in system architecture, integration, and compliance with open systems standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Establish system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s)
· Determine and identify high-level functional and technical requirements based on user interactions and enterprise architecture knowledge
· Design architecture including software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and future cross-functional needs
· Identify, assess, and present options for meeting functional and technical requirements including hardware/software updates or upgrades
· Develop high-level system design diagrams
· Ensure systems comply with open systems architectures, OSI and ISO reference models, and IEEE OSE standards
· Ensure the common operating environment is compliant
· Evaluate workflow, organization, and planning problems analytically and systematically and develop corrective actions
· Provide daily supervision and direction to staff
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of Secret Security Clearance
· Education: Master's degree (MA/MS) in a related field
· Minimum of 15 years of experience as one or more of the following areas:
Cloud & Virtualization Architect
Server/Systems Architect
Voice Architect
ISP/OSP Architect
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD experience - specifically working with the U.S. Army
- Understanding of Army installation standards and the ICAN-DI standards
- Minimum of IAT Level II
- CCNP, CISSP or equivalent
