QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Experienced CMA, LPN, or RN, with preferred 2-5 years in the healthcare industry. Previous experience training and leading employees. Previous work experience in the medical office/medical clinic setting. Must be a self-starter who is flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Leadership skills in critical thinking, conflict management, personnel development, effective communication, and interpersonal skills. Computer aptitude.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be in good general health. Be able to frequently stop, bend, and reach. Must be able to withstand constant walking, standing, lifting at least 50 pounds or more, push /pull clinical equipment. Must be able to function under periods of stress, trauma, and or disease. Must be able to work independently and effectively with teams. Ability to make decisions in stressful situations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervise, schedule, and coordinate clinic staff to maintain effective workflow and adequate coverage in support of continuity of care.
Manage the hiring, onboarding, training, and corrective action processes for clinic personnel in accordance with HR policies, under the supervision of the Clinic Manager.
Conduct timely performance evaluations and support the professional growth of staff through training, coaching, and compliance with required competencies.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive clinic culture by working closely with other supervisors, providers, and administrative leaders.
Coordinate and attend staff meetings to enhance communication, reinforce clinic protocols, and encourage team participation.
Monitor staff duties to ensure delivery of high-quality, compassionate care in alignment with primary care standards and patient safety practices.
Promote a positive patient experience by addressing concerns professionally, managing patient flow efficiently, and maintaining service excellence.
Identify and implement process improvements that optimize daily operations, patient scheduling, and team coordination specific to immediate care settings.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, patient records, and operational reports in accordance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Ensure readiness for state, federal, or accreditation inspections by managing documentation and supporting staff preparation efforts.
Assist the Clinic Manager in developing and implementing procedures that ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to oversee the use and maintenance of equipment and technologies, ensuring timely coordination of repairs, upgrades, or replacements.
Manage supply inventory and resource utilization to support cost-effective operations, including ordering and tracking medical and office supplies.
Demonstrate alignment with the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities by actively participating in initiatives related to service quality, staff development, and continuous improvement.
