Job Summary

As a Fragrance Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience by providing expert knowledge on our fragrance products. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting the perfect scents that align with their preferences while maintaining an organized and visually appealing retail environment. This position requires a passion for fragrances, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Duties

  • Engage with customers to understand their fragrance preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge by explaining scent profiles, ingredients, and usage tips.
  • Maintain an organized stock of fragrances and related products, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
  • Collaborate with team members to create an inviting shopping atmosphere through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new product launches to enhance sales techniques.

Skills

  • Strong background in retail sales with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills to maintain stock levels and ensure the store is visually appealing.
  • Experience in cosmetology or beauty products is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in multilingual or bilingual settings is advantageous for serving diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations can enhance customer interactions.
  • A passion for fragrances and an understanding of scent families (e.g., floral, oriental, woody) will be beneficial.
